We'll explore leaf printing techniques, color-mixing, and different fonts - all while having a whole lot of fun during the process! This is a great workshop for young children and parents to do together or for children ages 6+ to do independently if they choose.

Here are the supplies you'll need for this week's sesh:

• 3 pieces of heavy weight paper (watercolor or cardstock) and 3 pieces of copy paper

• scissors

• ruler or straight edge

• around 6 trimmed lavender flowers w/ the stem + leaves (you can also bring other leaves and flowers along for printing!)

• acrylic or tempera paint / water / brushes (detail brushes and large) / drying cloth / paint pallet (paper plates/cardboard work great for this)

• pens and markers (for writing on and in the cards)

• optional: glitter, pompoms, doodads, etc.

This is a great opportunity to explore your neighborhood or local park looking for lavender! Enjoy the nature walk, and don't forget to crush some up in your hand and smell it once you find it! So yummy.
