Schedule of Classes

Online and In-Studio classes offered. Enrollment may begin any time during the year, as well as mid-month.

Trial classes:

  • Paid trial class option available for new in-person students: Saturdays 10-11 or 12-1.

  • Free online trial class option available for new online students during regularly scheduled classes.

Children's Classes (materials included)

Ceramics (hand building) (ages 8-14yo; In-Studio)

Comics and Manga (ages 8-17yo;ONLINE ONLY via pre-recorded lesson or live instruction on Zoom)

Watercolor (ONLINE ONLY; Live teacher instruction on Zoom; materials not provided)

Private Classes

Our private art classes are small-group, weekly lessons (either online or in person). Time slots are first come, first serve at a mutually agreeable day and time. Tuition is monthly and includes all materials. Classes meet for approximately one hour each week, and are for children ages 5+. More info may be found here under Private Events.

Our enrollment policies:

  • You may join a class at any time. Unless otherwise noted, enrollment is month-to-month and rolls over to the next month, with your class meeting once per week within that month.

  • Tuition is due at time of enrollment and on the 1st of each month thereafter. If you enroll mid-month, your tuition is prorated. A credit card must be on file, unless paying by check or cash. Please make checks payable to: The Arterie. A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks. A $5/day fee will be added until payment is received.

  • Students wishing to withdraw must email the studio at least 10 days before the first of the month to avoid incurring new tuition charges. Refunds are not possible after the first of the month if a student withdraws within that month and the following month’s tuition will be charged.

  • If you miss a class and give 24hrs notice, you may take a make-up class space permitting, within 30 days, and student must be currently enrolled. Makeups are forfeited upon separation from studio. There will be no refunds for missed classes. Missed classes may not be applied toward other classes or camps.
