CAMP INFO:
All camps are from 10:00a-2:00p for children ages 6-12 unless otherwise noted*. All materials are provided and snacks are included; students bring lunch. Projects created in each camp vary and will always include a mixed media work and a sculpture, among other mediums.
Our camps are a smorgasbord of making where your child will create to their heart’s content.
Your child:
is supported in small-group instruction to allow for questions, conversation, games, and plenty of down time!
works at their own pace.
is encouraged to use creative expression and spark endless imagination!
is provides daily snacks (they bring a lunch).
is offered art projects that are engaging, incorporate the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, are diverse in materials and subject matter, and encourage appreciation of both current artists and art history.
We are a reservation-based studio, and our classes/camps require purchasing of materials and adequate staffing ahead of time, which is based on attendance.
Please note that we do not offer refunds, but honor a two week cancellation policy prior to the start of camps during the year and the first session of summer camp.
If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so at least two weeks before camps starts by emailing us at info@thearterie.org. You will receive a camp credit in your account for the amount paid. Cancellations within two weeks of the start of camps will not be credited. Credits are not valid for Gift Certificates, Parties/Events or for use in our Shop.
We do not offer make-ups for missed camps/camp days. If you cannot attend all or part of camp, you will not be refunded, credited a prorated amount, or be able to attend a different camp to make up the missed days.
