Hygge Holidays: Handmade Ornaments & Décor (part 2 of an optional 3-part series)

  • The Arterie LLC 2219 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, #105 Thousand Oaks, CA, 91362 United States (map)

Rooted in Scandinavian tradition, led by Danish ceramicist Lina Dion-Inglis, add a little handmade magic to your home. In this workshop, we’ll create clay ornaments and simple décor pieces—perfect for your holiday tree, table, or to gift with heart.

Using stamps, textures, and underglazes you’ll craft ornaments and decorative items that carry the essence of hygge: simple beauty, warmth, and togetherness. Expect a cozy, creative evening where you leave not just with clay creations, but with ideas for making the season calmer and more meaningful.

Instead of carrying the holidays like an overstuffed shopping bag—handles digging into your palms, seams ready to split—what if you could move through the season differently? What if the holidays weren’t something to survive, but something to create? Rooted in the Danish tradition of hygge—the art of cultivating warmth, joy, and togetherness—Lina has created these workshops as invitations to slow down, make with your hands, and bring intention and your heart into a time that so often slips into stress. You are invited to participate in one or all of these workshops. Each workshop includes clay, tools, instruction, bisque + glaze firings, and choice of glaze.

Registration pricing is as follows:

  • One workshop of your choice $88

  • Two workshops of your choice $165 (saves $11, ~6% off) use code keepinitcozy (must register before 11/9)

  • All three (series pass) $240 (saves $24, ~9% off). Use code gettinhyggewithit (must register before 10/18)

When booking multiple workshops, please add each to your cart and use appropriate code at checkout.
